In college, Kate spent two summers solo traveling across Central/Eastern Europe exploring the range of artistry across cultures. She studied physical theater and clowning while staying in Hamburg, Germany and Grozjnan, Croatia with the Michael Chekhov Europe Association and rediscovered the playfulness and joy that is acting. After graduation, Kate was lucky enough to continue her love for travel in Japan where, most recently, Kate played Alexi Darling in the RENT 2024 Japan Tour. In 2024 Kate had the distinguished honor of receiving the 2024 Actors' Equity/Alan Eisenberg Award from the University of Michigan Department of Musical Theatre recognizing outstanding talent and career potential of a graduating senior.

Kate is an actor/singer/dancer currently based in New York City. Kate was born and raised in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and right in the middle of the small and artistic community of Harrisonburg, VA. Though she was the only family member to pursue a career in the arts, music was the heartbeat of her family, connecting 5 very different personalities. Her love for singing and performing was discovered in early childhood and never faded. Her continued and intense love for music and storytelling led Kate to the University of Michigan where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre in the Spring of 2024.
